Privacy policy
This policy explains what information mrin (“we”, “us”) collects when you use mrin.ai (the “Site”) and the Service, and what we do with it. The short version: the Site runs no third-party analytics and sets no cookies, and inside the Service we look at operational signals, not your files.
Information you give us
If you schedule a call, email us, or open an account, we get what you send: your name, email address, company, billing details, and whatever you write to us. We keep it to run your account and to talk to you.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs. Like every website, requests to the Site and the API are logged by our hosting and infrastructure providers: IP address, user agent, pages or endpoints requested, and timestamps. We use these logs to keep the Service up, debug problems, and investigate abuse.
- Service usage records. When you use the Service we meter what your account consumes — vCPU time, memory, storage, hibernated state, data transfer — and keep network metadata and security signals. This is what billing and abuse detection run on. We do not read the contents of your sandboxes except as described in our terms.
Analytics and cookies
The Site currently runs no third-party analytics and sets no cookies. Embedded videos use YouTube's no-cookie player. If we add an analytics tool later, we will name it here, with a link to its privacy policy, before it starts collecting anything.
Third parties we rely on
A few providers process data on our behalf, and only for the purpose named:
- Hosting and infrastructure providers serve the Site and run the Service, and see the server logs and usage records above.
- Scheduling. “Schedule a call” goes to Cal.com; what you enter there is covered by their privacy policy.
- Payments. Card details go to our payment processor; we never store full card numbers ourselves.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Site and Service.
- To bill for metered usage.
- To detect, prevent, and investigate technical issues, abuse, and security incidents.
- To respond when you write to us.
Retention
We keep operational data — usage records for billing, network metadata, logs, and security signals — for as long as we need it for billing, security, and legal obligations. When you delete your account, your sandboxes, snapshots, and account data are permanently deleted after the grace period described in our terms.
Disclosure
We disclose customer data to authorities only where legally required, and we tell you when we are permitted to.
Your choices and rights
- You can read the Site without creating an account or accepting anything — there is nothing to opt out of.
- You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at amit@mrin.ai. Where the law where you live gives you specific rights over your data, we honor them.
- Deleting your account removes your data as described under Retention; amounts already owed remain due.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy as the Service changes. The effective date at the top says which text is current, and for material changes we give notice in the dashboard or by email before they take effect.
